Last week, my daughter Haley, her friend Haley and I went over to Venice to work with an organization called The Giving Spirit. an LA based group that has made it its mission to help the homeless of Los Angeles, one person at a time. Over the winter, they make up and give out hundreds and hundreds of bags to homeless men, women, and children that are filled with food, hats, gloves, toiletries and other essentials. They depend on people like you and me to help make them run through donations of money, items, and our time.

We had an amazing time with these people and were even treated to a Knight Rider rap by one of the guys we met. It was a truly humbling experience.

While I was in Korea, I hopped over to Tokyo for a few days to talk business with some people. I had such a great time while I was there! Tokyo is a fantastic city, although it has LOTS of people as you can see.

I had a great guide while I was there who told me all about where we were and what was going on. . .we both thought these lanterns were really cool and beautiful and wanted to share them with you all.

Find more videos like this on David Hasselhoff Social Network

Since my return from Korea, Team Hasselhoff and I have been going through all the footage and hundreds of pictures I shot there. So we thought that over the next week, we’d show you some of the footage you’ve never seen!

Both these videos are more from my time at Camp Caroll with the good men and women of the US Army, but there will be more from Korea and a few from my time in Japan! Hope you all enjoy!

Love and respect,

DH

As you all know, I’ve been filming in Korea for a few weeks now. I’m taking a much deserved break at the moment, but I didn’t want to leave you too long without a new video. So here’s something you haven’t seen before: swimming with sharks this summer.

It was a great time as you can see and while these particular sharks were pretty gentle, you should always be careful in the open water. Take the right precautions and have people with you that know exactly what they’re doing. That’s how you stay safe.

Enjoy these gorgeous animals.

Camp Carol Videos

Friday, October 31st, 2008

My experience at Camp Carol was incredible and I’m thrilled to be able to share these videos with everyone at Hoffspace and all the troops in Korea. I know it’s taken a few days to get these up, but I hope they’re worth the wait.

Keep up the good work!

Love and Respect,

DH

Support Our Troops…

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

I was honored to be able to hang with the Air Attack Renegades at Camp Carol in South Korea. A very special thank you to LC William T Brooks and all the troops who I met there on a very memorable visit. The theme of Knight Rider was “One Man Can Make a Difference” and you and your soldiers are truly great examples of real heroes.

They are great guys and they do a FANTASTIC job..

More from Busan

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

Hey guys! I’m still having an amazing time in Korea. I’ve met some really great people and seen some really cool things. Filming continues, but I do get some time off to go see some beautiful sites. One of these videos is of the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple (Dragon Temple) outside of Busan. Not only is it beautiful and peaceful, it’s over 1,000 years old! It’s built right next to the sea and has a spring that is supposed to contain healing waters. It’s an amazing place.Hope you enjoy these and as they say in Korea “to boayo!” (Bye!)Love and Respect…DH Find more videos like this on David Hasselhoff Social Network Find more videos like this on David Hasselhoff Social Network

Checking in from Korea…

Saturday, October 25th, 2008

Hey guys.. DH here.. Hope you are all well. I am in Korea and having a great time with the new movie. Cannot tell you much about it but we are having lots of fun. It is going to be hilarious.. It has got everything a decent movie needs: ninjas, dancing, old favorite Hasselhoff songs, new favorites including my soon-to-be released “Do You Really want To Hurt Me..”, nunchucks, beautiful girls and me!After our flight (see the videos below) we started filming on Jeju island in Korea which was quite an experience and now we have moved to Busan, which is like a huge version of Hong Kong… I am getting some very funny reactions from the Koreans and I am slowly (very slowly!!) picking up some key phrases…Anyway, I will keep checking in to take your questions in the chatroom and say hello on the excellent HoffSpace live broadcast system but for the time being, greetings from Korea and goodbye…Find more videos like this on David Hasselhoff Social NetworkFind more videos like this on David Hasselhoff Social Network
