Last weekend, the beautiful Kimberly and I went out to Coachella in Indio, CA. It was hot, but we had an awesome time. We got to see Sir Paul McCartney perform LIVE and it ROCKED! We met a lot of cool people and had some serious fun. It’s an absolutely amazing time and everybody should check it out if you get the chance!

Afterwards though we were exhausted and stopped at Two Bunch Palms outside of Palm Springs. It’s absolutely the best spa in California and we had some time to really relax.

It’s almost our first birthday here at Hoffspace and Hasselhoff.com(or close enough anyway) and so we’ve decided to do a series of things to celebrate. First we’re going to do some great deals in the HoffShop. This week, and this week only, if you buy a HoffBag (see David’s Video) you’ll get this “I Got Hoff In Vegas” shirt for half-price. We’re also going to be picking an item of the week to go on sale or to give away to a lucky few (more details on that later!) in the days and weeks coming up.

We’ve also got a bunch of cool new stuff we’re getting the ball rolling on for the Hoffshop, so stay tuned! We’ll be sure to keep you updated.

Teens Helping Teens

Find more videos like this on HoffSpaceMy daughter Hayley is on the board of a really neat charity here in Los Angeles called Teens Helping Teens. This is a group of teenage girls that have been involved at the Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles for a while and I went with them on Easter Sunday to visit some of the kids over there.Around Christmas, Teens Helping Teens noticed that the teens in the hospital were really lacking things to keep them entertained. The kids that have to stay in the hospital are often there for a really long time and a lot of them are in isolation wards and can’t really communicate with anyone but the nurses and their families. They’re so brave and sweet. The girls of Teens Helping Teens went around and asked all these kids what they wanted the most to make their stay more comfortable and almost all of them said they wanted a computer or a PlayStation or something that would occupy them without risking them getting sick. The girls decided that they were going to do something about it and have organized a huge Young Hollywood party that’s taking place in May. They’ve got Fred Segal doing a fashion show, Steve Aoki is going to DJ, and Rumer Willis is going to host. All the proceeds will go toward helping these sick kids feel a little bit better. They’re going to purchase Wiis, PlayStations, Macs and all sorts of things that will help these children get through their illness”One man can make a difference” is something they really believe, and they believe you can do it no matter your age. I’m so proud of and impressed by them and the kids they’re trying to help.If you’d like to donate, please make checks payable to:Childrens Hospital Los Angeles Memo: Children’s Play Therapy Fund (The Bash) Attn: Albert Garcia mailstop 64 4650 W Sunset Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90027

So the new season of AGT is filming and we’ve just released the New Hoffshop, so I thought we could talk about both of them in one go. Kill two birds with one stone so to speak. I’m really excited about the season and I can’t wait for it to air. There’s some really amazing talent that’s come out. We can’t show you any of the talent, but we’ve got some cool backstage footage to come over the next couple days.

Peace and respect,

DH

(Hasselhoff.com Team note- the Hoff’s Got Talent T-Shirts are NOT available online, sorry).

Wearable Hoff

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

We’ve had quite a lot of requests for Hoff products since The Hoff: When Scott Came to Stay aired. We know a lot of you already know about the HoffShop, but for those of you that don’t, you can get all your Hoff themed wishes here. Items include the infamous HoffBag (featured above), Hoff T-Shirts, movies, and books.

For those of you that have already been by the HoffShop before, it’s worth another look as we’ve just rolled out a brand new shopping cart that should make things much easier for our international customers.

We’re hoping to bring you some new and exclusive items very soon, and we’ll be sure to let you know when we get them!

Thanks!

David Hasselhoff to Perform In Space!

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

We are really excited that David has been asked to perform a concert aboard the International Space Station. As the most watched TV star on earth, it was decided by NASA, in conjunction with MIR the Russian Space agency, that DH should also become the most watched TV star above earth. DH will launch from the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Cannaveral in a rocket specially adapted for his 6′4″ frame in late June. He will dock with the ISS and perform a medley of his songs which will be specially televised all round the world. A spokeswoman for MIR, Dr Ovma Rokka, said, “This is very exciting. We are pleased to have Mr Hasselhoff on board the ISS.”
