Backstage at America’s Got Talent…

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

What a great show tonight… It was an honor to be there and see those really amazing acts… And what a show stopper at the end with Queen Emily… That girl can sing!!! And she has such a beautiful story, giving up her dream to look after her kids. Amazing! I was so happy for her…

But all the acts are awesome and I love doing the show. I am really looking forward to next week. So here is a glimpse backstage … Enjoy DH

First Official HoffSpace Competition

Friday, June 6th, 2008

Hey… How’s everyone doing? I love HoffSpace… I hope you are all having fun here. I have really enjoyed doing the live shows and we are going to do a lot more of them…
I would love to hear your thoughts on the site… What is good? What could be better? What you would like in the future? Let me know…

Anyway… I was thinking… You guys keep seeing me singing and performing but I want to see what you can do… So here it is - the first official HoffSpace competition - I want you to send in your videos of you singing or lip-syncing my songs from all over the world. I want to see great locations, great costume, great performances and great imagination… Upload them to the video section and mark them as Hoff Video Competition… I am going to think about a prize but it will be something very cool!!!

I look forward to seeing them…

Soldiers Story

Tuesday, March 11th, 2008

I just finished up ‘America’s Got Talent’ in Dallas and while going through security at the airport with my father and friends, we had the pleasure of running into the real stars of America, our brave young men & women of the Armed Forces. Wow! Talk about a dose of reality. It was such a pleasure to take photos and to talk to these fine young patriots who were returning from leave with their families and friends and heading back to Iraq and Afghanistan to defend our country. They showed a lot of emotion and shared stories about Iraq with us. Most of the stories were positive in nature about our efforts in Iraq and it was good to hear that these soldiers were indeed making a difference. After getting their email addresses and my promise to send photos and autographs, we wished them good luck and god speed. I realized quickly how blessed we were.
